- DOE up to $25/hr Join a Small Team Where Your Contributions Matter We are seeking a reliable and versatile Shipping, Receiving & Shop Support Specialist to join our client's team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a variety of responsibilities and wants to play an important role in supporting daily operations. In this position, you'll split your time between shipping and receiving, inventory and purchasing support, administrative tasks, and hands-on shop support. No two days are exactly the same, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys staying busy and working in a collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities Shipping & Receiving Receive incoming supplies, tools, materials, and shipments accurately and efficiently Prepare completed jobs and materials for shipment to customers and suppliers Package, load, and unload shipments by hand or with a forklift Complete shipping documentation, including UPS, FedEx, bills of lading, and international paperwork Enter shipping and receiving transactions into the ERP system Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments with vendors and carriers Build wooden shipping crates as needed Administrative & Purchasing Support Monitor office and shop supply inventory levels Request supplier quotes and follow up on orders Create and manage purchase orders and sales orders in the ERP system Track delivery schedules and vendor communications Maintain organized records, filing systems, and documentation Provide professional customer service via phone and email Assist with general office and administrative duties as needed Shop Support Disassemble and clean parts returned for repair Assemble components using machine screws and engineering drawings Assist production personnel with general shop support tasks Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required U.S. Person status required Valid driver's license required Previous experience in shipping and receiving, warehouse operations, manufacturing, assembly, purchasing, customer service, or office administration preferred Experience using ERP systems is a plus Forklift experience Skills & Abilities Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and multitasking skills Comfortable using computers, Microsoft Office, email, and data entry systems Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly Strong communication and customer service skills Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Physical Requirements Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, and pull throughout the workday Comfortable working in both office and manufacturing environments Ability to work a standard 40-hour work week with occasional overtime Why Join Us?
