Job Description

Job Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Associate to manage the flow of raw materials (metal sheets) and finished fabricated products. You will ensure that all incoming supplies are verified against purchase orders and that all outgoing customer orders are securely packaged and documented for safe transit.
Key Responsibilities Shipping Preparation:
Package finished metal products into boxes, crates, or pallets; ensure each part is protected during shipping.
Documentation:
Generate Bills of Lading (BOL), packing slips, and shipping labels using ERP software (e.g., Epicore, Bartender).
Receiving & Inspection:
Unload trucks and verify incoming material against packing slips.
Documentation:

Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate stock levels and participate in regular cycle counts.
Equipment Operation:
Safely operate pallet jacks, pallet wrappers, tape dispensers and hand tools to perform core job functions. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent. 1-2 years in a manufacturing or warehouse setting (sheet metal or machine shop experience preferred). Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and shipping software (UPS WorldShip/FedEx Ship Manager). Basic math skills for accurate piece counting and weight calculations. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for 8+ hours.
Preferred qualification:
Forklift certification is a plus (or ability to obtain within 90 days). Work Environment Exposure to noise, vibration, metal edges, oils, and industrial equipment Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE)

$16.00 - $19.00 per hour
