Shipper Receiver

Shipper Receiver Location:

Wilmington, MA Salary:

$28-31/hour Responsibilities (not limited to): Assemble, boxes, containers and crates, pack goods to be shipped, and prepare identifying information and shipping instructions. Update status of inbound and outbound orders in ERP system (S4Hana/SAP), Contact carrier representative to obtain quotes, make arrangements, and to follow shipping instructions for shipping and delivery of materials, Oversee loading and unloading of goods from trucks, etc. Coordinate packing and shipping of all goods, including assembling packages, weighing them, and reporting costs Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods. Unpack and route goods to appropriate storage areas or end user Order shipping supplies as required, Perform general housekeeping tasks within the shipping & receiving area Perform general duties and assist production team and material handler as required

Qualifications:

High School, Post-Secondary Education degree is preferred 5 years of shipping and receiving experience Extensive knowledge of major couriers FedEx, DHL, UPS, etc. including how to operate their respective software packages Working knowledge of ERP/MRP system ( S4Hana/SAP ), and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.) is preferred Operate a fork lift truck High attention to detail essential with ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a busy environment High attention to internal and external customer needs Experience with preparing international shipments including customs documents is an asset Physically capable of performing the essential duties of the job and lifting up to 50lb. Good written and oral communication skills Ability to multitask and assist production team when required Offered compensation: $28/hr - $31/hr Experience and License Requirements ERP/MRP system Forklift Operation S4Hana/SAP (optional) Shipping and Receiving
