Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a professional and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associateto join our logistics team. In this vital role, you will oversee the accurate and efficient processing of incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring timely delivery and proper inventory management. Your proactive approach will help maintain smooth warehouse operations, support order fulfillment, and uphold safety standards across all distribution activities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where teamwork and precision are key to success. Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and document inbound shipments using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling orders accurately for delivery Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely to load and unload trucks Maintain organized stock levels through effective stocking, inventory control, and order picking procedures Utilize warehouse distribution systems such as AS400 or MRP to track inventory movements and update records Ensure proper packaging standards are followed to prevent damage during transit Assist with cycle counts, stock replenishment, and maintaining a clean, safe warehouse environment Skills Proven experience in shipping & receiving within a warehouse or distribution center setting Ability to operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely and efficiently Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400, or MRP software for inventory tracking Strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes including order fulfillment, stocking, and order picking Basic math skills for counting, measurements, and verifying shipment quantities Experience with RF scanners for accurate data entry and inventory updates Knowledge of packaging techniques for various products in an e-commerce or retail environment Join our team as a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to play a crucial role in delivering excellence every step of the way.
