Receiving

Skills and Qualifications High School Diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent required. A minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in a warehouse environment required. Experience operating warehouse equipment such as a forklift and electric pallet jack required. Forklift certification required. Comfortable working in a heavy-duty warehouse environment. Knowledge of shipping processes and logistics. Knowledge of shipping software, inventory management software and data entry. Intermediate knowledge of safety standards in a warehouse environment. Ability to read and write and perform simple mathematics. Ability to use and understand a ruler and/or taper measurer. Intermediate computer skills such as file storage, control panel navigation, internet and email utilization. Ability to work with a diverse range of people. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficient organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry 75 lbs. individually and up to 100 lbs. with other associates.
