Pay:

Remy Battery is a growing, locally owned and operated family business that has been in business since 1931. We are currently seeking a retail & warehouse associate to help grow our business for our Escanaba Michigan branch.
DUTIES INCLUDE
  • Retail counter sales.
  • Assist in loading and unloading trucks.
  • Checking in and stocking merchandise according to organizational standards.
  • Regular cycle count merchandise.
  • Picking and processing orders and preparing them for shipping.
  • Efficiently process paperwork and complete electronic order processing/shipping/receiving.
  • Rotate inventory, maintain customer displays/merchandising.
  • Light assembly, installations and counter sales duties when completed with warehouse duties.
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat: sweep, dust and mop.
  • Driving for deliveries with company van.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School diploma and 1 -2 years prior warehouse work experience preferred.
  • Computer skills to easily adapt to order entry, order processing, cycle counting, electronic communications, product look up and quoting.
  • Self-starter, organized, time management and mathematical skills, excellent communicator.
  • Forklift and pallet jack experience.
  • Must be able to work full time and Saturday's.
  • Must be able to regularly lift 75 lbs.
  • Required to stand, walk, stoop, and kneel.

Schedule:
8-hour shift, Monday to Friday. Saturday 8-12.
Pay:
$14.00 - $17.00 per hour
