Job Description
Job Summary Product and Tooling Technologies is a growing supplier of engineering plastic parts to the automotive and non-automotive sectors. PT Tech prides itself on producing high quality parts with short lead times that exceed our customers' expectations. We foster a culture of personal growth and maintain an open door policy at all levels of our organization. We are seeking a Driver / Shipping Associate to join our team. This position can be either part time or full time. Working hours will range from 6:00am to 4:00pm and will depend on the current work load. The qualified candidate must have a valid Chauffeur's License. Job Responsibilities Maneuver a forklift, pallet jack, or other machine safely within the facility. Safely stack and unstack materials and jobs from pallets or shelves. Unloading deliveries and safely relocating the goods to their designated storage areas Ensuring that forklift driving areas are free from spills or obstructions Regularly checking forklift equipment for faults or damages Follows all rules and regulations of the road and operates vehicle(s) safely. Follows all safety protocols for deliveries when loading and unloading items from the vehicle. Accurately verifies paperwork to item being delivered or picked up. Completes all necessary paperwork each day to be given to Supervisor or Accounting. Inspects truck before and after driving to ensure everything is working order.
