Month Assignment Benefits:

Sterling Engineering is partnering with a manufacturing company in the Pasadena, TX area to hire Shipping & Receiving Clerks for a 3 month contract assignment. This position will support daily warehouse, shipping, receiving, and inventory operations within a fast paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and unpack incoming shipments while verifying accuracy of materials received Process shipping and receiving paperwork for domestic and international shipments Coordinate pickups, track shipments, and communicate with shipping carriers regarding delivery issues Store materials in designated inventory locations while maintaining an organized stockroom Support inventory activities including cycle counting and stockroom organization Pick and prepare orders accurately and efficiently Maintain accurate documentation and warehouse records Follow detailed procedures and safety guidelines consistently Support additional warehouse and shipping duties as needed
Qualifications :
Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or inventory experience preferred Experience using Microsoft Office programs including Excel and Word Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Forklift experience preferred Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP or PRMS preferred Experience with FedEx, UPS, or other carrier systems is a plus Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds as needed High School Diploma or GED required
