Shipping & Receiving Clerk Shift:
Days 6:00 am Essential Duties and Responsibilities Affixes shipping labels on packed cartons or stencils identifying shipping information on cartons. Assembles wooden or cardboard containers or selects preassembled containers. Inserts items into containers. Driver's license is required. Posts weights and shipping charges, and affixes postage. Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages. Routes items to departments. shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area. Orders Trucks for outgoing Material. Performs light maintenance and cleaning of company owned trucks. Keeps the Shipping and Receiving area neat and clean at all times. Understands and follows safety & environmental regulations and identifies safety/environmental concerns. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.
