Job Title :
Tool Crib Attendant Job Summary:
The Tool Crib Attendant's general responsibilities to maintaining the crib in a clean and orderly manner, daily receiving, shipping as required , filing as required , weekly collecting of soiled personal protection equipment, stocking of safety supplies on the shop floor.
Responsibility:
Receive, unpack, and organize all incoming materials and stocks in appropriate , labelled locations. Maintain purchasing data and provide updates for parts and services as required . Participate in regular cycle counts and inventory audits. Maintains database of issued, damaged, worn out or missing equipment. Ability to communicate with various departments within a team environment. Maintain various storage lists, files and logs pertaining to the control of tooling for the manufacturing and maintenance of machining equipment. Check tool availability and set proper schedules for release of work order packages. Contact the departments involved and persons to obtain information to process related paperwork and insure earliest availability of needed tooling. Other duties as assigned.
Academic/Educational Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Required Skills/Experience:
Prior experience maintaining tooling and MRO inventory. Basic computer skills (MS Word and Excel) Basic math skills. Excellent organizational abilities and capable of multitasking. What Linamar Has to
