Edina, MN Job Details Part-time $22 - $24 an hour 18 hours ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Fulfillment Specialist West Des Moines, IA We are currently seeking a Fulfillment Specialist to join our innovative and fast-growing Golden Openings Team - a division of Front Row. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our Sales and Customer Service division to ensure the operations process is executed with excellence. You will manage the entire fulfillment process, from order receipt and product selection to customization and shipping of the final products.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Execute the fulfillment process and ensure quality control by verifying that all orders contain the correct products, meet quality standards, and are accurately shipped. Collaborate with the Customer Service and Sales teams to prioritize orders by urgency and shipping deadlines, ensuring high-priority orders are processed promptly. Personalize products according to customer specifications using various customization techniques. Facilitate inventory transfers between locations, including the transfer of product customization items. Monitor inventory levels, working with the Fulfillment Supervisor to ensure adequate stock of products and customization materials, and prevent out-of-stocks. Perform regular inventory counts, reconcile discrepancies, and maintain accurate records of inventory movements and adjustments. Inspect products for defects and verify that all orders contain the correct items and meet quality standards. Conduct final checks to ensure orders are complete and accurate. Prepare and package orders for shipment, ensuring products are securely packed. Generate shipping labels and documentation, selecting appropriate shipping methods. Coordinate with shipping carriers to schedule pickups and track shipments. Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize the fulfillment process. Participate in training sessions to stay current with new processes and technologies. Maintain high-level communication with the customer service, sales, and fulfillment teams to deliver Best-in-Class Customer Service. Assist with resolving any order-related issues or customer complaints in a timely manner. All other duties as assigned by Supervisor(s).
QUALIFICATIONS HS
Diploma/GED required and 2 years of experience in a retail sales/merchandising or similar environment preferred. Strong organizational, time management and problem-solving skills with the ability multitask and meet time sensitive deadlines. Experience working with Shopify a plus. Excellent attention to detail, thoroughness and accuracy. Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, exhibiting a strong sense of teamwork. Best in class customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and customers. The ability to meet all duties and responsibilities listed with or without reasonable accommodations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
Must be able to stand for extended periods throughout the workday. Regularly lift and move items up to 50 lbs. Frequently reach above shoulder height and below waist level to handle products and materials. Regularly squat or reach to access shelves and/or handle products. Use product customization tools such as spray paint and adhesives, requiring precise hand movements, manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination. Move between different work areas within the facility. Meet Visual demands include reading documents, reports, and computer screens. Work in a warehouse and office environment, which may include exposure to varying temperatures and humidity levels but is maintained at comfortable levels. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required, including gloves, masks, and eye protection when using customization tools. Exposure to moderate and at times high noise levels from machinery and equipment. Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency. This role may involve repetitive motions and physical exertion, requiring a good level of physical fitness and endurance. Ergonomic equipment is available to support employee comfort and wellbeing.
