Job Title:
Shipping Clerk (2nd Shift) Job Description The candidate will be responsible for filling and packaging orders for shipment. This includes filling daily orders, packaging and shipping UPS orders, processing paperwork involved in shipping and receiving products, maintaining organized and clean stocked areas, and loading trucks with orders. Responsibilities Fill and package orders for shipment. Process UPS orders and related paperwork. Organize and maintain stocked areas. Load trucks with orders. Keep the work environment clean and organized. Essential Skills 1+ year of shipping experience or warehouse experience. Proficiency in UPS shipping, order picking, and shipping & receiving. Experience with Excel, SAP, UPS Worldship, and FedEx. Ability to operate a forklift. Capability to lift 10-20 lbs regularly and occasionally lift 50-75 lbs. Work Environment Work in a metal manufacturing environment similar to an auto body shop, which can be dirtier. This is a non-union shop. The 2nd shift hours are Monday - Thursday 2:30pm-12am and Friday 12pm-4pm. Employees must wear pants (no sweats or athletic wear) and a short-sleeve shirt or longer, with steel-toed boots required. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $20.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
