Position Summary:

Design Ready Controls is a leader in control panel building and searching for our next key player to join our team. As a Shipping Clerk, you will be an integral part of our success and growth. This role is responsible for the outbound shipping of our production units. This is a 2nd shift position. Key Responsibilities Shipping of production outbound Prepare shipping BOL, documents, labels and customs paperwork for international delivery Prepare product for shipping via national and global means, including crating, shrink-wrapping, and banding Operate crane, pallet jack, and forklift to load panels for shipping Assist in training measures as needed Maintain a safe, organized, clean and efficient work area Assist in 5S and Lean activities as required Identify and assist in process improvement measures Ensure the promotion of customer focus throughout the organization Education | Experience High school education or equivalent (required) Prior warehouse receiving experience (required), industrial setting (preferred) Ability to use strapping/banding equipment ERP experience (preferred) Leadership experience (preferred) Forklift driving experience required (certification process provided) Abilities | Skills Good math, computer (Microsoft Office) and communication skills High motivation level, ability to multi-task and work well independently as well as with others Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills Lifting up to 50-85 pounds occasionally (with assistance) Ability to read and follow company shipping documents Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours per day Ability to read, write, speak, and understandEnglish Compensation and Benefits:
Hourly pay range of $18.00-$20.00DOE Medical, Dental, Vision, HSA, FSA, Dependent Care FSA, Life Insurance, Disability, ADD, 401(k), Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays, Floating Holidays, ESST.
