Job Description

Position Summary:
This is a non-exempt, full time position working Monday - Friday 8am-4pm or Monday-Thursday 6am-4pm. The Shipping & Receiving/Material Handler processes incoming products and materials, and outbound shipments. Ensures accuracy of all paperwork and communicates with internal functions. Timely and accurate distribution of products to/from shipping and receiving, between docks, work stations and inventory locations.
Job Skills and Knowledge:
Knowledge of product and parts. Overall knowledge of quality and general workmanship requirements. Reads and interprets shipping and receiving documentation. Knowledge of raw material, work-in-process, and finished goods inventory locations. Must be reliable, cooperative, with high attention to detail, and work well independently and as part of a team. Ability to prioritize work and respond accordingly to the demands of various departments in order to keep production flowing. Participate in a culture of mutual trust and respect, with teamwork and accountability to each other and to organization goals.
Key Job Requirements and Responsibilities:
Receives product, verifies accuracy of paperwork, moves to proper location. Ensures internal functions are notified. Verifies product, packaging and documentation ready for shipment. Ensures internal functions are notified. Distributes products to/from shipping and receiving, between docks and work stations and inventory locations.
Safety and housekeeping:
maintains clean and organized area. Follows all safety policies and procedures.
Education and Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Manufacturing experience of 2 years, minimum. Forklift experience. Internal certification required.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
