Job Description

Shipping & Quality Control Associate Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping & Quality Control Associate to join our team. This role combines shipping/logistics responsibilities with quality inspection duties to ensure products are accurately processed, packaged, and shipped while maintaining high quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience using UPS and FedEx shipping software and possess strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Key ResponsibilitiesShipping & Logistics Prepare, package, and ship outgoing orders accurately and efficiently Process shipments using UPS, FedEx, and other carrier software systems Generate shipping labels, bills of lading, and shipping documentation Coordinate daily pickups and deliveries with shipping carriers Maintain shipping records and tracking information Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders Organize inventory and maintain a clean shipping area Quality Control Inspect products and materials for defects, accuracy, and compliance with company standards Perform visual and dimensional inspections as required Identify and report quality issues or discrepancies Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and documentation before shipment Maintain accurate quality control records and inspection reports Work closely with production and warehouse teams to resolve quality concerns Qualifications Previous experience in shipping, warehouse, or quality control roles preferred Experience using UPS WorldShip and FedEx Ship Manager strongly preferred Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Basic computer and data entry skills Good communication and organizational skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Forklift experience is a plus Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is reliable, proactive, and takes pride in maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality. They are comfortable balancing shipping responsibilities with quality inspections and can work independently while supporting team operations.
