Parts Manager or Operations Manager Position Summary:
The Shipping and Receiving Associate is responsible for overseeing all incoming and outgoing shipments within the dealership's parts department. This role ensures accurate inventory handling, timely deliveries, and efficient warehouse/department operations. Coordinate daily logistics activities and maintain compliance with company policies and safety standards.Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate daily shipping and receiving operations Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage; verify against purchase orders Ensure timely and accurate processing of outgoing orders, including packaging and documentation Maintain organized inventory and storage areas within the warehouse/department Lead cycle counts and assist with full inventory audits Train, schedule, and support shipping/receiving team members Resolve discrepancies related to shipments, inventory, or documentation Maintain shipping records, logs, and reports Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as neededQualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional logistics or supply chain training preferred 3-5 years of shipping/receiving or warehouse experience, preferably in an automotive or dealership environment Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to lift heavy items and work in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills Forklift certification (or ability to obtain)Skills & Competencies:
High level of attention to detail and accuracy Time management and multitasking Strong communication and coordination skills Knowledge of shipping procedures and inventory control High level of organizational skillsWork Environment:
Warehouse and dealership setting Exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and equipment Standing, walking, and lifting required throughout the shiftCompensation & Benefits:
