Job Description

Receiving/Material Handler Job Type:
Full-time | Monday through

Position Summary:
Geringhoff is seeking receiving/material handler candidates. These individuals will help with unloading/loading trucks and receiving in incoming materials and putting materials to the proper location. Individuals will also be supplying to our assembly line by picking orders.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Picking parts from work orders for sub-assembly, assembly line, welding, and spare parts department.
  • Counting, receiving, and shelving of parts according to FIFO rules
  • Loading and unloading of trucks and containers
  • Keeping the dock clean (5S)
  • Cycle counting
  • Reading prints/drawings
  • Creation of kits based on work orders
  • On occasion, doing basic sub-assembly
  • Other duties as needed
Required Education and Experience:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Shipping and receiving experience is preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong work ethic
  • Self-motivated
  • Able to lift 70lbs.
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to work in a fast pace environment
  • Good communication skills
  • Must pass Pre-employment screening

Pay:
$20.16 - $25.67 per hour
