KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Serve as the customer service representative for all inbound/outbound drivers. Serve as point of contact for all customer pickups. Serve as point of contact and liaison between finance and shipping departments for all shipping related documentation processing and control. Quote and source all TL/LTL business in and out of PLZ Corp/Clinton related to the East Dock. Organize/package and handle all aspects of the daily small parcel shipments for FedEx, UPS, etc. Utilize and practice Risk Management Concepts and PDCA Techniques. Participate in the identification and continual improvement of organizational processes. Identify any suspected nonconformance and request, initiate and support internal/external corrective actions. Define, implement, and monitor department operating procedures, instructions, records, etc. Answer phones, transfer calls, take messages, etc. Print and distribute Customer Order Pick Lists. Prepare Driver Order Boards. Other duties as assigned.

High School or equivalent (preferred)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position is $17.00/hour. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Dependent on the position offered, other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
