Job Description
Opal Foods is seeking applications for the position of Shipping Clerk at our Neosho, MO School Egg Processing Plant. This role is responsible for maintaining a clear flow of information, orders and the related paperwork between the assigned facility, their shipping team, guard shack, and the main office.
Essential Job Functions Must be able to perform these tasks with or without reasonable accommodationsRelate shipping information from the previous day to the office by assembling the prior days paperwork and scanning it to office and updating the long and short reportPrepare daily paperwork by assembling the daily packet/truck diagram, printing out new BOLs from ERP, routing BOLs in R6, printing the pick list, attaching a seal (and temp trip device when necessary), and double-checking information with the long and short report Update shipping report with the information from the current days packetsAssemble and input information for Tosca RPC Reporting Match load pictures and save on fileAssemble the CHEP ReportUpdate and compare inventory information for cooler with what is in system and verify usable dates for eggsMaintain SQF ReportsTrack Organic egg ordersCommunicate and cooperate with shipping clerks at other locations to ensure product mix and to maximize efficiency and profitabilitySupport the plant manager as needed with inventory tracking and supply purchase ordersPrepare daily run list one day ahead and adjust the run list as neededOther Duties as assignedRequired Qualifications Education/Experience/Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesPrevious Experience with Microsoft Excel and WordDemonstrates ability to use various forms of inventory softwareMust be able to speak, read, and write in EnglishWillingness to be flexible with a fast-changing work environmentDetailed oriented with demonstrate ability to provide high attention to detailsMust be able to work in interdependent work team environment
