Full Job Description Ozark Assemblies Shipping/Fulfillment Clerk Trainee Job Type:
Full Time Pay range (paid hourly): $32,240-34,320
Essential Functions:
Pick and package products for shipments according to requirements and update inventory systems Assist with periodic physical counts and investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies Ensure proper asset tagging and inventory reporting Assist in performing inventory receiving tasks Assist in ordering fulfillment supplies, packaging, and other related materials Work cooperatively with members of the fulfillment team to expedite resolution of customer return, exchanges, and product shipping escalations Document issues and their resolutions identified to improve fulfillment processes Accurately label boxes and prepare freight for shipment Safely load and unload trailers by utilizing equipment such as hand trucks/pallet jacks and forklifts Verify documentation and condition of freight to assure quality standards are achieved Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Other duties as assigned Maintain an organized work area, and a safe and clean working environment by assisting in removing trash, breaking down boxes and organizing product Create, update, and improve standard operating procedures Maintain current knowledge of products, offers, policies and effectively apply knowledge
Qualifications:
Excellent communication and problem solving skills Strong team player that thrives in a fast-paced environment Forklift and general freight handling knowledge is a plus Must be 18 or older Shipping, receiving, and inventory experience preferred Strong PC skills and proficient with Google and Microsoft Office Suite Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, changing environment Exceptional attention to detail required Organizational and time management skills required Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills Self-starter and good analytic skills for inproving process tasks and efficiency Ability to quickly learn and work independently Must be able to lift up to 50lbs Customer and team-focused attitude
Work Environment:
The hours of the position are Monday through Friday from 8AM to 4PM Training on fulfillment processes and systems as well as shipping dashboards will be provided 1 week of paid vacation available after first year of employment 6 paid holidays each year
