Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Order Fulfillment Associate to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient processing of customer orders, managing inventory, and maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment. Your energy and precision will help us deliver exceptional service and timely shipments to our customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse operations while contributing to a fast-paced distribution center. Duties Operate equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to pick, pack, load, and unload products efficiently. Use warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory levels, update order statuses, and ensure accurate order fulfillment. Select products with precision using order picker equipment and manual handling techniques to meet customer specifications. Prepare orders for shipping by packaging items securely, verifying quantities, and performing quality control checks. Manage shipping and receiving processes, including verifying inbound shipments, inspecting goods for damage or discrepancies, and organizing stock in designated areas. Maintain safety standards by properly using personal protective equipment (PPE), adhering to heavy lifting protocols, and following safety procedures for heavy equipment operation. Support warehouse distribution activities by stocking shelves, replenishing inventory, and ensuring the workspace remains clean and organized. Qualifications Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and order picking procedures. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during stock handling or load/unload tasks. Prior experience in shipping & receiving, packaging, materials handling, or quality control is highly desirable. Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation is a plus. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy during order picking & packing processes. Demonstrated ability to follow safety protocols including PPE use and manual handling guidelines. Warehouse experience in distribution or logistics environments is preferred; previous warehouse supervisor experience is advantageous but not required.
