Shipping and Receiving

Fab-Tec is a machining and fabrication company with over 29 years of experience serving manufacturers and industrial clients throughout the U.S. We have an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our team. The idea candidate will have previous experience in a machining and fabrication environment.

Responsibilities:

Examine contents and compare with records, such as invoices or orders, to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipment. Determine shipping methods for materials using proper shipping methods. Record shipment data, such as weight, damages, and discrepancies. Deliver or route materials to departments, using work devices, such as hand trucks, forklift or sorting bins. Pack, seal, label, and affix postage to prepare materials for shipping. Follows all safety policies and procedures. Meets agreed upon goals and objectives in a timely manner. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications:

Must be forklift certified Must have basic math skills. Must be able to take verbal and written instructions. Ability to work well in a fast paced work environment to meet team expectations. Commitment to quality and accuracy of work performed. Must have a working knowledge of computers

Hours:

6am-4:30pm, M-Th, Friday's as needed
