Job Description

We're hiring a Materials Coordinator. The Materials Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the movement, storage, and distribution of materials to support manufacturing, service, and shipping operations in the company. This role manages inventory transactions, material staging, receiving, and shipping support while working closely with Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Logistics teams to maintain material availability, inventory accuracy, and on-time deliveries. $24 - $27 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 7 AM - 3:30

High SchoolResponsibilitiesCoordinate the flow of materials between receiving, warehouse, production, and shipping areas  Stage materials, kits, and components for production and service activities  Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, ERP transactions, and stock audits  Receive, inspect, label, and organize incoming materials and parts  Support shipping activities including packaging, documentation, freight coordination, and shipment scheduling  Prepare packing slips, bills of lading, shipping labels, and export documentation as required  Coordinate domestic and international shipments with carriers, vendors, and customers  Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages or discrepancies to Purchasing and Production  Maintain material traceability and proper documentation in accordance with company procedures  Assist with warehouse organization, material handling, and continuous improvement initiatives  Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as needed  Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and shipping regulations Experience with inventory control, warehouse operations, or material coordination  Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and shipping software  Knowledge of shipping procedures, freight carriers, and logistics coordination Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook  Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification preferredSkillsMaterials ManagementERPMicrosoft ExcelInventoryLogisticsReceivingProductionQualificationsYears of experience: 3 yearsExperience level: ExperiencedRandstad is a world leader in matching great people with great companies.
