Our business has been in operation since 1934, and our products are synonymous with quality, innovation, and a longer shelf-life. We are a manufacturer of sweet baked goods, and our products include a variety of delicious individually wrapped items, including: honey buns, baked pies, fried pies, and gem donuts to serve all customers' needs. Carolina Foods is seeking a meticulous and experienced Shipping & Receiving individual, who can ensure efficient and accurate handling of shipments, BOL processing and product receiving. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and is familiar with working with RF scanners. Key Responsibilities Receives and logs inbound materials into the warehouse; utilizes information found on packing slips and purchase orders. Responsible for processing, picking, staging, and shipping all outbound customer orders. • Maintain accurate Bill of Lading (BOL) records and ensure compliance with shipping documentation requirements. Inspect incoming & outgoing shipments to ensure compliance with applicable quality standards. You must successfully pass forklift testing and be able to operate a forklift in a safe and effective manner. • Adherence to safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory.
Qualifications Experience:
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in shipping and receiving role, preferably within a food manufacturing or similar industrial environment. Experience working with RF scanners and warehouse management systems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to quickly identify and resolve discrepancies.
