Shipping and Receiving Specialist

Job Summary We are seeking a Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our warehouse team. This individual is responsible for the safe and efficient handling of all incoming and outgoing shipments. This role performs inventory pulls, packing and container assembly, shipment verification, damage reporting, and the movement of materials throughout the facility using appropriate equipment. Duties Pull required items from inventory and cut items to specified dimensions when required. Count, weigh, and measure items from incoming and outgoing shipments. Assemble wooden or cardboard containers and pack items securely for shipping. Operate forklifts, hand carts, and other material handling equipment safely and in accordance with company policy. Assist other production employees as needed and perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Ability to read and interpret Bills of Lading, Purchase Orders, and other shipping/receiving documents. Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification preferred). Strong attention to detail and accuracy in counting, measuring, and record-keeping. Ability to lift and move heavy items; must meet physical demands of a warehouse environment. Effective verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with shippers and internal teams.

Pay:

From $21.00 per hour
