10/6/2021 Position Overview High temperature vacuum furnace manufacturer in Allenstown NH seeks a Receiving associate to record incoming and outgoing shipments and ensure delivery to appropriate departments. Will train the right person. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented team player who strives for top quality workmanship and is happiest without supervisors. Must be a self-starter

Essential Job Functions:

Operates lift trucks or hand trucks to convey, move or hoist materials to proper departments or areas. Unpacks, examines and routes incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, Receives and processes all defective parts returned for replacement or credit. Performs all computer functions necessary to track various aspects of goods Coordinates pick up by the carrier specified on the customer's purchase order, which is conveyed to the shipping clerk by final inspection via the shipping instructions. Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor. Responsible for keeping an adequate supply of shipping materials on hand at all times. Must be able to build wooden shipping crates as needed Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations. Make pick-ups and deliveries to our suppliers for parts and raw materials with own vehicle Knowledge/Education/Certification Requirements Minimum of a high school education and one year of factory-related experience in shipping and receiving. Ability to read and write English, follow verbal instructions and use simple math. A valid driver's license and a good driving record. Licensed forklift truck operator.
