First Shift - Manchester (United States of America)
Work Shift Time:
6:45 AM - 2:45 PM, Monday through
Friday Job Objective:
Coordinate and perform tasks related to shipping and receiving of materials in the Distribution Department in an accurate and efficient manner. Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work environment.
Essential Job Functions:
Commitment to Safety Demonstrates a strong commitment to maintaining a safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines. Promotes a culture of safety within the organization by leading by example and encouraging others to prioritize safety. Promptly reports any safety incidents or near-misses to the appropriate personnel and contributes to the investigation process. Active participation in safety-related programs and initiatives is required as necessary. This includes involvement in the safety committee on a rotating schedule, as well as participation in Risk Assessments, Exposure Hunts, department inspections, and change management activities. Operate stock picker. Operate TSP. Operate Handheld RF (WMS). Operate electric pallet jack. Completes travelers. Receives product in handheld. Pick product using handheld rf in WMS. Retrieve product from QC hold. Ability to become Clamp truck certified. Ability to become Sit-down fork truck certified. Additional tasks as requested or assigned. Full time presence required. Ability to work well with others in a team environment Full time presence required Ability and willingness to be cross trained in any other functions as required or requested. Excellent attendance required. Ability to work overtime as required or requested including extended shifts and weekends. Additional tasks as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Ability to lift to 65lbs unassisted. Attention to detail. Effective time management skills. Effective verbal communication skills. Positive attitude.
Preferred:
Working knowledge of OSHA safety rules. Fork truck experience and / or certification.
