Shipping Clerk

SUMMARY:

Performs various types of product packing and shipping in accordance with established procedures and/or commercial standards; receives and stocks incoming equipment, materials, and supplies and prepares shipments.

HOURS:

Monday-Friday, 7:30AM - 4:00PM

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Pick product from inventory and process shipment as per sales order Generate shipping labels for UPS, FedEx and create Bill of Lading Perform inventory cycle count Put away finished products on the shelf Receive incoming goods as per OP Marks receiving procedures. Track shipments, as needed Assist in the loading of outgoing shipments as required Breakdown incoming shipment as required prior to QA inspection Perform other tasks as directed by Management Operate forklift as required

QUALIFICATIONS

1 to 2 years related experience or equivalent. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong organizational, problem solving, and analytical skills. Familiarity with shipping practices and handling methods. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Commitment to excellence and high standards. Ability to manage priorities and workflow. Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm. Acute attention to detail. Proficient on Microsoft Office and various shipping software such as UPS and FedEx. Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions. Forklift certification or willingness to be trained to obtain certification.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
