Job Title:

Shipping and Receiving Associate Job Description Join our dynamic team as a Shipping and Receiving Associate, where you will play a crucial role in efficiently moving materials within the warehouse and ensuring accurate tracking and documentation. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to handle freight with care. Responsibilities Move materials within and around the warehouse. Track materials by tagging, inventorying, and documenting weight and dimensions. Ensure accurate completion of all necessary paperwork. Sort and segregate all distributions accurately. Load and unload freight from trucks, vans, and other transportation vehicles, ensuring the paperwork matches the loaded or unloaded items. Conduct quality control to check products for potential damage. Document and update disposal data to capture use of the dumpster. Pick and pack material/freight in a timely and orderly manner. Essential Skills Experience in shipping and receiving processes. Ability to accurately complete paperwork. Proficiency in sorting and segregating distributions. Skill in loading and unloading freight safely. Attention to detail for quality control checks. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with cherry/order picker. Skill in packaging and picking. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Edison, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
