Job Description

Incoming Material Inspector/Receiving Clerk 1st Shift Assures operational compliance to cGMP's & SOP's and customer required protocol. Perform incoming inspection and approval of bulk product. Perform incoming inspection and approval of all packaging components. Prepare standards for all first-time receipt material. Monitor and maintain temperature in the sampling booth ( as applicable) Prepare customer bulk samples for test and retest ( as applicable). Responsible for placing materials and components on Hold for bulk and/or components, and generating all documentation associated with the process. Review receiving reports and associated receiving documents for accuracy. Collect samples and prepare documents for sample submission to customers. Collect samples and prepare documents for outside contractor testing. Document nonconforming or out-of-specification results as required. Assist in investigations and corrective actions. Maintain records/log books for all material and components received as well as customer specification requirements. Maintain receiving report records and distribute to Accounts Payable and Inventory Control Departments. Pull paperwork of past receipts from IMI records for the Inventory Control Department and distribute. Overtime Required. Perform Cycle count (as required) Responsible for performing inventory transactions and controlling the status of materials in the ERP computer system. Responsible for performing inventory transactions in the ERP computer system to remove all rejected/shipped material. Responsible for monitoring the control of obsolete inventory and performing transactions in the ERP computer system for Status Change and removal of inventory. Willing to cross-train on other tasks as designated by the department Manager Other tasks assigned by the
Manager/Supervisor Qualifications:
Must have a good command of the English Language, both written and verbal. Good oral and written communication skills. Computer literate as well as excellent basic math skills. Adaptability and willingness to learn new tasks and cross train. Attention to detail a must.
Requirements :
Ability to lift 60 pounds or more. Walking, moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances. Standing for extended periods of time, eight (8) hours or more. Submit your resume for consideration.
