GMA Accessories, Inc. dba Capelli New York is a major U.S. manufacturer and distributor of apparel, footwear, novelty and gift products, jewelry, ladies fashion accessories, handbags and sports/athletic apparel. We were established in 1990 and have approximately 600 employees in the U.S.A. and 2,500 employees worldwide. We have offices in the U.S.A., China, Hong Kong, Germany, UK and Bangladesh. Our U.S. warehouse facilities are located in New Jersey for east coast distribution and California for west coast distribution.What We Are Looking For:
We are seeking a driven Shipping and Receiving Clerk for our Distribution Center in Secaucus, NJ. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented person who is a problem solver, takes initiative, possesses great communication skills, has the ability to shift gears at a moment's notice, and enjoys the challenges of helping to build a great organization of talented individuals to join our team.Responsibilities:
- Work with loaders and unloaders.
- Familiar with tracking receipt of all items based on Shipment/Purchase Order.
- Store inventory efficiently in the warehouse designated areas.
- Keep track of the goods and supplies in specific areas of the warehouse.
- Work on inventory including transfers and damages.
- Work closely with a team of receiving warehouse associates.
- Comply with handing products on a daily basis to domestic courier such as UPS, DHL and USPS.
Qualifications:
- Must have experience with major department stores shipping procedures.
- Schedule shipment pick-ups and deliveries (domestic and international).
- Organize shipping documents and bills of lading.
- College degree is a plus but not required.
