Job Description

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Receiving material coming into the warehouse from manufacturers Verify the quantity and description of materials received by checking merchandise against the packing list. Examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items and report/record any discrepancies. Accurately place materials on shelves, in racks or other designated storage areas orderly. Ensuring that outgoing shipments are adequately packaged, preserved and meet Halco quality requirements. Operate certain warehouse equipment (forklift) as required to retrieve/move material from storage racks or floor space that has either been picked or will be picked for a future order. Ensuring cleanliness and proper stocking and organizing of inventory in the work area Process material returned by customers (RGA's). Audit pick tickets for pending sales orders noting any discrepancies. Process shipments online via FedEx and UPS tracking software Core competencies Must be able to read and match orders on shipping tickets without assistance
  • solid reading skills a must Must have basic math and reasoning skills to identify products by size/type/style/color or product code Must be able to pass power truck certification program Ability to work at elevated machine heights up to 346" when using a high-reach forklift (Swing Truck) Operate inventory control systems and possess moderate computer aptitude Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Minimum two years warehousing and forklift experience•stand up forklift required Capable of operating powered material handling equipment Strong command of the English language•written and verbal Physical requirements Able to move/lift to 50 lbs unassisted Able to withstand temperatures in a warehouse environment Position spends workday standing, walking, lifting, pulling and pushing Highlights Competitive hourly wage Comprehensive benefits available on day one
