Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Samples Clerk to process sample requests, prepare shipments, and assist with repackaging operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, takes pride in accuracy, and is committed to providing excellent service to both internal and external customers. Key Responsibilities Process customer and sales team sample requests, ensuring shipment within two business days or sooner. Coordinate and ship catalogs, literature, and promotional materials. Prepare shipments using UPS, FedEx, and other shipping systems. Provide shipment confirmations to requestors. Assist with assembling and shipping marketing kits, trade show materials, and promotional items. Repack products into smaller boxes and bags according to specifications. Process small-pack orders using packing slips and packing instructions. Label products and shipments accurately. Enter inventory transactions and maintain accurate records. Follow established quality procedures and departmental processes. Support other departmental activities and special projects as needed.
Requirements:
Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Previous shipping, warehouse, inventory, packaging, or distribution experience preferred. Ability to read and follow written instructions and procedures. Basic computer skills and ability to learn shipping software. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and customers. Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently. Physical Requirements Regular standing, walking, reaching, and handling materials throughout the workday. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds frequently. Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and climb as required. Ability to work in a manufacturing and warehouse environment. Work Environment Manufacturing and warehouse setting with moderate to loud noise levels. Exposure to varying temperatures and occasional dusty conditions. Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hard-toed shoes, and fall protection equipment when necessary. Commitment to following all company safety policies and procedures.
Compensation:
$18.00/hr
