Receiving Associate - 2nd Shift Coda Staffing - 5.0 Totowa, NJ Job Details Temp-to-hire $19 - $21 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Computer operation SAP NetSuite Microsoft Dynamics 365 High school diploma or GED Epicor ERP Shipping and receiving inventory management Computer skills Cross-functional communication SYSPRO Full Job Description Position Summary The Receiving Associate is responsible for receiving, inspecting, documenting, and organizing incoming shipments to ensure inventory accuracy and efficient warehouse operations. This role works closely with warehouse, inventory, purchasing, and shipping teams to verify deliveries, maintain accurate records, and ensure materials are properly stored and distributed. Key Responsibilities Receive and unload incoming shipments from vendors, carriers, and suppliers. Verify incoming products against purchase orders, packing slips, and shipping documentation. Inspect deliveries for damage, shortages, or discrepancies and report issues promptly. Accurately enter receiving information into inventory management systems and maintain detailed records. Label, sort, and organize materials for storage or distribution. Coordinate with purchasing, inventory control, and warehouse teams to resolve receiving discrepancies. Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and hand trucks (as certified and required). Maintain inventory accuracy through proper documentation and inventory control procedures. Ensure products are stored safely and in designated locations. Assist with cycle counts, physical inventory audits, and stock replenishment activities. Adhere to company safety policies and maintain a clean, organized receiving area. Support shipping, warehouse, and general logistics functions as needed. Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent. 1+ years of experience in receiving, warehouse, logistics, inventory, or related operations. Basic computer skills and experience with inventory management systems. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to accurately process documentation and maintain records. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds. Preferred Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment. Forklift certification (or ability to obtain certification). Experience with ERP, WMS, or inventory management software. Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures and inventory control practices #IND1

$19.00 - $21.00 per hour
