Receiver

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Receiver to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient receipt of incoming shipments, ensuring product and packaging quality, and supporting overall warehouse operations. Your proactive approach will help maintain seamless inventory flow, support order fulfillment, and contribute to the smooth functioning of our distribution center. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Unload and inspect incoming shipments using equipment such as electric pallet jacks, reach trucks, and forklifts to ensure safe handling and proper placement of goods. Verify received items against purchase orders using scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to ensure accuracy. Ensure product and packaging quality. Operate order pickers and other warehouse equipment to facilitate order fulfillment and stock replenishment. Load and unload trucks safely, ensuring proper handling of freight during transfer processes. Work with and intruct other individuals in ensuring proper sorting, segregating, staging and flowing of inbound product. Able to work in a cold, fast paced environment. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Other duties assigned. Requirements High School Dipolma or equivalent required. Prior experience in warehouse operations, shipping & receiving, is highly preferred. Experience in operating electric pallet jacks is needed. Strong basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy items, standing for extended periods, must frequently lift/and or move up to 75 pounds and operating warehouse equipment safely. Frequently required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, see and hear. Ability to work with specific computer software. Ability to work independently and as a part of a team. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in inventory management and order fulfillment.

Schedule:

Full time position, Monday-Friday, start time 7am-approximately 4pm

Compensation:

$19.00 hour As an
