JOB SUMMARY
Overall Summary of Function The Shipping Associate supports the day to day functions of the Shipping Department by assisting with outbound order preparation, staging, counting, labeling, loading, and shipment readiness for client deliveries, will-calls, transfers, and other shipping requests. This role helps ensure all outbound materials are accurate, complete, protected, and released on schedule while supporting manifests, system check out tasks, and inventory accuracy through timely reporting of shortages, damages, or discrepancies. Working closely with Shipping leadership and other departments, the Shipping Associate helps maintain smooth material flow, safe loading practices, and on-time order completion while operating authorized equipment as needed and maintaining clean, organized, and safe work areas.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
At Minimum Duties and Responsibilities Order Preparation & Loading Perform item counts and verify labeling, condition, and readiness prior to loading or release. Safely load, secure, balance, wrap, palletize, and protect shipments to prevent damage during transport and maintain show ready standards. Support will-call pickups, deliveries, transfers, and other outbound requests as assigned. Accurately check out of company systems as part of daily departmental tasks, following standard operating procedures and reporting discrepancies promptly to leadership. Follow quality control standards when pulling, prepping, packing, storing, loading, unloading, and moving materials to ensure products remain protected and operationally ready. Operate order pickers, forklifts, pallet jacks, dollies, box trucks, vans, scissor lifts, and other material handling equipment as needed, in accordance with company training, certification, authorization, and safety requirements. Follow all company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and proper equipment handling practices. Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free loading docks, staging zones, vehicles, and work areas throughout the shift. Immediately report damaged products, shortages, unsafe conditions, equipment concerns, or incidents to a Lead or Supervisor. Work closely with Shipping Leads and supervisors, Receiving, Production, Inventory, and other departments to support accurate and on-time order completion. Communicate effectively with team members regarding task progress, delays, priorities, or operational challenges. Support other warehouse departments as directed during high-volume periods or changing business needs. Participate in pre-shift meetings, huddles, and debriefs to align on priorities and daily goals. Help maintain department organization by returning tools, supplies, and equipment to proper locations after use. Meet or exceed daily productivity, accuracy, and quality expectations. Assist with manifests, labels, shipping records, and inventory tracking by reporting shortages, overages, or inconsistencies. Provide feedback on process improvements that increase efficiency, reduce errors, and strengthen workflow reliability. Uphold Blueprint Studios' commitment to operational excellence through consistent performance, teamwork, and accountability. Perform other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
At Minimum Training, Education and; Experience GED or high school diploma (B.S. or associates degree preferred) 1year in warehouse, shipping, logistics, or event-related operations preferred Demonstrates the ability to be organized, detail oriented and team driven Flexible and adaptable to constant change Currently in possession of a valid driver's license with clear driving record Pays attention to detail when composing, typing and proofing materials Respects confidentiality in discussing clients' proprietary information and staff This position does require overtime and some weekend hours Availability for overtime, nights, weekends, and emergency support when needed. Bilingual in Spanish a plus Valid driver's license with clear driving record.

The employee may need to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to heavy. The temperature will vary from hot to cold depending on the weather. The employee must be able to drive 16' and 24' truck.
