Schedule :
Full-time:
Mon-Fri - 7:30am-3:30pm (Possibility of overtime)
Part-time:
Flexible between the hours of 7:30am-3:30pm
Job Description:
The shipper/receiver is responsible for accurately picking, packing, and shipping orders to customers, as well as receiving and shelving incoming goods.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
Accurately pick and pack orders for B2C and B2B customers Process shipments in an ERP and WMS Prepare shipments for both small packages and freight carriers Process shipments for dispatch to 3rd party warehouses (eg Amazon) Prepare paperwork as needed for various shipments Maintain accurate inventory in a computer-based system Perform inventory counts Receive shipments from freight carriers Check received shipments for accuracy against packing lists and original purchase orders Shelve and organize products in the warehouse Receive and process customer returns/exchanges Inspecting products for defects and damages Maintain organization, cleanliness of the warehouse, and other general warehouse work
Skills and Abilities:
Highly organized with great attention to detail Must be a self-starter, eager to learn, and improve Works well in a team, and as an individual Good computer skills Able to operate pallet trucks and hand trucks Strong communication skills Desire to provide excellent customer service Physically able to do some light to heavy lifting up to 50 lbs and/or moving 125 lb bags Forklift and/or reach truck training is a plus
