Shipping and Receiving Associate

Bohemia, New York job type: Contract salary: $20 - 22 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: High School responsibilities: Safely unload trucks using appropriate lifting equipment, distribute materials across internal plant locations, and properly package and ship outgoing materials to avoid damage.

Execute precise cycle counts, perform bulk counting using scales and tape/reel counters, and maintain proper procedures for storing and shelving inventory.

Accurately identify parts, components, and wires by their markings or color codes to carefully fill orders according to Bill of Material (BOM) requirements.

Utilize computer systems to record all inventory transactions, track materials, generate labels, charge labor, and maintain highly accurate work records.

Operate a variety of material handling equipment, monitor and replenish packaging supplies, resolve inventory discrepancies, and train team members as needed.
