Job Description:
Reichert Technologies, part of AMETEK, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Operator to support our packaging, shipping, receiving, and stockroom operations in Depew, NY. This role plays a critical part in ensuring materials and finished goods are accurately handled, tracked, and delivered across the business. The ideal candidate brings a strong work ethic, a focus on safety and quality, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while supporting overall operational efficiency.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Works in packaging, receiving, shipping and stockroom areas Packs and moves manufactured goods from production and service into finished goods loads and unloads trucks at the dock area
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
High School Graduate or GED certified preferred but not necessary. Requires reading, writing, simple arithmetic and carrying out instructions with use of some judgment Requires up to 3 months experience Uses counting scales, bills of materials, travelers and various forms Uses computer terminal Uses Instapak machine Uses common material handling equipment such as electric trucks, dollies, forklifts Lifts up to 60# occasionally Applies occasional mental and visual attention Stocks materials using two bin replenishment for both inventory and non-inventory items Picks parts from bills of materials, sales order and requisitions Records transactions and trucking parts to proper destinations.
