Fulfillment Delivery Associate Job Description:
As a Fulfillment Delivery Associate at our licensed New York State Retail Dispensary, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and efficient inventory of product, maintaining inventory levels, delivering product to customers in Brooklyn, and contributing to the overall success of our dispensary's fulfillment operations. Position reports to Fulfillment Manager. •All applicants must have legal Cannabis experience in a licensed dispensary. This role requires a mode of transportation for delivery either a car or electric bikeKey Responsibilities:
Product Intake and Management:
Support accurate intake of product using Metrc and connected POS system Maintain accurate count of inventory levels Pick, pack, and label cannabis products for delivery, ensuring order accuracy.Delivery:
Follow delivery protocol in accordance with NYS law ensuring accurate to delivery to customers 21 and over This role includes regular deliveries throughout Brooklyn. You must have your own reliable transportation — either a car (preferred) or an electric bike — and be comfortable making deliveries daily.Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure all fulfillment processes follow standard operating procedure. Utilize dispensary software and point-of-sale systems to manage inventory, track orders, and monitor fulfillment processes. Maintain accurate records of fulfilled orders, including order details and any returns, recalls, or other issues encountered during the fulfillment process. Implement and adhere to security measures to safeguard products and maintain a secure fulfillment environment. Stay updated on regulations and participate in trainings about rules governing cannabis dispensary operations.Inventory Management:
Work closely with inventory management teams to monitor and maintain stock levels. Conduct regular audits to identify discrepancies and support proper inventory rotation. Role may require operating in an inventory management role on occasion.Quality Control:
Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure all products meet quality standards before fulfillment. Report and address any product-related issues promptly.Communication:
Collaborate with other fulfillment staff members and different departments to streamline operations. Communicate effectively with team members to relay important information and updates.Fulfillment Support:
Work closely across teams to address fulfillment-related inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.Safety Measures:
Adhere to safety protocols to ensure a secure and hazard-free fulfillment environment.Qualifications:
Previous experience in order fulfillment, inventory management, or a related role with cannabis-specific retail experience. Knowledge of cannabis products and understanding of dispensary operations. Familiarity with cannabis inventory tracking software, point-of-sale systems, and basic computer programs. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Willingness and desire to learn and grow. Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift and move heavy objects. Ability to bend, reach, and twist Compensation and Benefits $18 - $20/hour Shifts between 6 and 10 hours Employee discounts on cannabis products.
