Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (with overtime opportunities as needed) At Thompson & Johnson Equipment, our Shipping & Receiving department plays a key role in keeping our business running smoothly. From incoming inventory to outgoing shipments, you help ensure the right parts get to the right place—on time. We're looking for an experienced Shipping & Receiving Specialist to join our Syracuse Parts Department and support both internal and external customers. What You'll Do Receive incoming inventory and verify accuracy against purchase orders and packing slips Inspect shipments for damage and report discrepancies Prepare and package outgoing orders for efficient, damage-free delivery Operate forklift and pallet jack to load, unload, and move materials Label and tag materials for inventory or special orders Maintain accurate inventory records and support parts system updates Assist with customer and technician parts needs, including pickups and deliveries Operate tire pressing machine, including pressing tires What Makes This Role Different Hands-on, active work — not stuck behind a desk Team-focused environment — you're a key part of daily operations Variety — shipping, receiving, inventory, and customer support Consistent weekday schedule What You Bring High school diploma or equivalent Prior shipping/receiving or warehouse experience preferred Experience with AS400, Tinnacity, or UPS software is a plus Ability to operate (or willingness to learn) forklift and material handling equipment Strong attention to detail and organization skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Valid driver's license What We Offer $21 - $24/hour based on experience Consistent schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Company uniforms provided Paid in-house training Benefits that actually make a difference: Medical insurance as low as $5/week + FREE vision Dental, life, and supplemental coverage such as LTD, STD, and specified disease (cancer, heart, kidney) insurance 401(k) with 50% company match (up to 5%) Generous PTO + holidays Additional perks: $500 annual tool allowance $600 annual well-being reimbursement $200 annual gym membership $100 annual boot allowance $100 annual company clothing allowance Why Thompson & Johnson?
