Warehouse Receiver

Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Warehouse Receiver to join our dynamic logistics team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient receipt of incoming shipments, managing stock levels, and supporting overall warehouse operations. Responsibilities Receive and inspect incoming shipments using RF scanners and other warehouse management systems to verify accuracy against purchase orders. Load and unload freight safely using equipment such as pallet jacks, reach trucks, and forklifts, adhering to safety protocols. Stock shelves efficiently by organizing products for easy retrieval and maintaining optimal inventory levels within the warehouse management system (WMS). Prepare orders for shipment by picking, packing, and labeling items accurately, ensuring timely order fulfillment. Utilize basic math skills to count inventory, calculate weights, and verify quantities during stock transactions. Assist in inventory management activities including cycle counts, stock replenishment, and updating records in systems like AS400 or MRP software. Maintain a clean and organized work environment by following safety procedures during load & unload operations and ensuring proper packaging standards are met. Experience Previous warehouse experience is preferred, especially in distribution centers or e-commerce settings. Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and AS400 or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) software is highly desirable. Hands-on experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers is a strong plus. Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures along with order picking & packing processes is essential. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately to support inventory control tasks.
