Job Description

Adecco is currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate in Rochester, NY. This is a great opportunity to join a small, team-oriented manufacturing environment where your contributions directly impact daily operations and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or logistics operations and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • + Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing slips and purchase orders.
+ Unload, sort, and store materials in designated warehouse locations. + Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment. + Create and maintain shipping documentation and inventory records. + Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure timely delivery. + Perform inventory counts and assist with inventory control activities. + Ensure products are packaged properly to prevent damage during transit. + Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as needed. + Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment. + Work closely with production and warehouse teams to support operational goals. + Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Qualifications
  • + Minimum 1 year of shipping, receiving, warehouse, logistics, or material handling experience.
+ Forklift experience preferred; certification is a plus. + Basic computer skills and experience with inventory systems preferred. + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. + Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently. + Strong communication and teamwork skills. + Reliable attendance and a positive work ethic.
  • Physical Requirements
  • + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. + Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift. + Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and perform material handling duties. + Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse and manufacturing environment.   • Pay Details:
  • $18.
