In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and processing incoming shipments while maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting overall warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, works efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and values teamwork and safety. Key Responsibilities Receive and unload incoming merchandise and deliveries Verify shipment contents against invoices, packing slips, and purchase orders Inspect products for damage, defects, or discrepancies Label, sort, and organize inventory in designated warehouse areas Maintain accurate inventory and receiving records using inventory systems Communicate inventory shortages or damaged items to managers Keep receiving and storage areas clean, organized, and safe Support inventory counts, audits, and stock replenishment activities Follow all company safety policies and operational procedures Qualifications Previous warehouse, receiving, stocking, or retail experience preferred Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout shifts Basic computer and inventory management system skills Strong organizational and time-management abilities Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members Preferred Skills Knowledge of inventory tracking systems Strong communication and problem-solving skills Experience in retail or distribution environments
