Job Opportunity:
Dayton, OH Our client is looking for an Order Entry/Shipping Clerk to join their team. Our client is a tier two automotive parts manufacturer that specializes in the production of door locks, seat locks, sunroof rails, and more. The Order Entry/Shipping Clerk will be responsible for managing data entry and scheduling for shipping and receiving.
Job Requirements Requirements/Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year experience with Shipping/Receiving
  • Computer skills (Email, Spreadsheet)
  • Experience with ERP (Syspro preferred).
  • Thorough knowledge of FIFO.
  • Ability/willingness to learn new shipping programs.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good computer skills.
Responsibilities/Duties:
  • Arrange shipments for each customer and forward order to Production Control Assistant.
  • Coordinate with shipping/receiving associates for finished goods shipments.
  • Produce 'Packers' bill of lading for each customer.
  • Confirm shipments have been sent by reviewing signed bill of lading.
  • Scan bill of lading after parts have been shipped.
  • Contact transportation companies on daily basis to pick-up shipments.
  • Contact customer to verify the orders that ensure match with shipped out vs. forecast.
  • Verify purchase orders are signed and stamped.
  • File paperwork and any documents.
  • Other duties as directed.
