Job Description

1st Shift Shipping Associate We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping Associate with basic computer skills for a position in Columbiana, Ohio. This role offers the chance to contribute to a busy shipping operation within a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will work on-site, assisting with shipping logistics, preparing shipments, and supporting the overall efficiency of the shipping department. Hours:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 am - 3:00 pm
Pay:
$16.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
Work in the shipping office and on the shop floor Monitor truck loading and unloading Pull tickets and prepare packing lists Schedule shipments and coordinate with carriers Weigh shipments and update information on scales Input data into the computer system Email packing lists and shipment details to customers
Minimum Requirements:
Previous experience in a shipping department preferred Basic computer skills required Punctuality and excellent attendance Nice to
Have Skills:
Experience with shipping software or inventory management (if available) Ability to operate scales and other shipping equipment
Preferred Education and Experience:
Prior shipping or warehouse experience a plus
Other Requirements:
On-site work environment Valid certifications or licenses are not required
