Full Job Description Job Title:

Shipping & Receiving Associate / Clerk Reports to: Shipping Manager Description of basic functions and responsibilities

• Must be able to wear Personal protective equipment throughout the day when on the production flood: Hi Visibility Vest Safety Glasses Steel Toe Boots Gloves Hearing protection
• Maintains receiving schedule- scheduling carriers for each day and communicating what is coming in to interested parties.
• Monitoring lab schedule to ensure all documentation is available with customer shipments
• Rework daily schedules as needed due to changes in shipping priority
• Secure carriers to pick up all outbound orders, preparing a schedule based on probability of when loads will be ready.
• Communication with our international forwarder, preparing international documents necessary for delivery
• Communicating with our customers on their needs, when to expect material, sending all requested shipping documents.
• Prioritizing daily workflow and storage location for the shipping and receiving personnel
• Ensure all quality procedures are followed within shipping and receiving functions.
• Fills in to watch department of 5+ hourly employees when manager is out. Physical Demands
• Must be able to work in varying work environments o Manufacturing environment o Seasonal Temperatures both indoor and outdoors (Occasionally) o Moderate noise levels o Dusty conditions Standing 40% of the time / sitting 60% Skill and / or Abilities required:
