Job Description

We are looking for highly motivated and detail-oriented shipping/receiving/material handling personnel to join our team at Dependable Stamping Company. As part of the shipping/receiving/material handling team, you will pull, pack, and ship customer orders. This may also include assisting with incoming shelf stock, receiving goods, stocking shelves, verifying inventory, moving components/piece parts to and from workstations, and assisting in crating and/or staging pallets for shipment by LTL transport. Objectives of this role Processing of customer orders for shipment in an accurate and timely manner Utilizing computers and specialized software to process orders Identifying, documenting, and properly processing domestic and international shipments Receiving, tagging, and stocking inventory Building Gaylord skins, bins, and baskets for production with accurate tear weights Handling of material on the shop floor through the use of overhead cranes, forklifts, pallet jacks, and transport carts Processing and logging materials used on the production floor Evaluating and assisting with process improvements and compliance with regulatory standards Other production or general labor tasks may be assigned by management as needed Required Skills & Qualification High School Diploma or GED Adaptability and positive attitude in a fast-paced environment Proficient with Windows (Excel, Office, etc.) and ERP system familiarity Ability to make decision independently and perform at a high level with or without supervision Intermediate math skills related to shipping, inventory counting, weight counting, cycle/batch counts Basic Geometry and ability to read a tape measure
