Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience Experience with UPS WorldShip and FEDEX Ship Management a must; experience in Starship Shipping program preferred Ability to apply general concepts such as percentages, addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication to practical situations Ability to interact clearly and effectively, in both written and oral communication with customers, vendors, management, and co-workers Current forklift license required Proficient in personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, Microsoft Office, and word processing Willing to learn new tools, processes, and equipment as required Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety policies, reporting hazards or unsafe conditions immediately

Responsibilities:

Make boxes, applies labels, and prepares materials for shipment Prepare boxes and loads for shipment Operate pallet jacks and forklifts safely and efficiently Load and unload trucks for shipping and receiving Stage parts for shipment according to customer requirements Inspect incoming materials and verifies accuracy against paperwork and documents discrepancies Prepare all shipping and receiving documentation Schedule trucks for outgoing shipments Assist with routine equipment maintenance as needed Immediately stop production and notify the production or quality manager when suspect, nonconforming, or out of tolerance product is identified Perform all other duties as assigned Does this sound like the position for you?
