Job Description

Description:
This position is responsible for checking in, sorting, and delivering all items that enter the building through the Receiving department daily. Deliver all incoming items to the appropriate manufacturing cell in the designated departments. Perform count verifications for warehouse materials. Interface effectively with Team to ensure efficient coordination of respective efforts. Pulls and packs components based on daily order(s). Keeps products separated and organized per order(s). Monitors product quality and reports problems. Operates various pieces of equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.) Utilizes continuous improvement mindset and assists in identifying opportunities to improve process. Deliver goods to the appropriate manufacturing and assembly areas. Review part shortages daily and satisfy if goods become available. Assist with company physical inventories as required. Maintain an orderly and professional work area. Perform all other duties as directed by the Materials Manager.
Requirements:
Ability to provide professionalism, patience, and a people-first attitude. Knowledge of total supply chain principles and concepts. H.S. Diploma or G.E.D. from a state recognized institution preferred. Familiarity of perpetual inventory systems. Proficiency in using simple hand tools and strapping equipment. Prior lift truck experience/Tow motor certification.
Computer literacy:
a working knowledge of mfg., inventory control systems, and material requirements planning. Word processing, spreadsheet, and database knowledge helpful but not required.
